dude ok i know my exhaust is loud but damn man i just finished getting rid of my old 1 now i need to find some kind hearted soul that would let me borrow there stock exhaust so i can get this cleared away. i used my cuzns last time and now hes back in texas so i cant do that again. so ya can anyone help plz o ya BTW this happened in torrance on praire and around del amo

You might have a leak or a crack or something.
But then again torrance P.D. does suck.
If you know for a fact that your exhaust is under .93 decibals and is smog legal I would fight the ticket.

 

well its smog legal but i mean even with the silencers its loud and i believe its the RSR 1st gen one im not to sure. and not all of um the other night like at 3 in the morning on western and 182nd one of them pulled up to me and was like i know you cant help the noise but slow it down and when i even noticed him i was going a good 60 so im glad theres some good ppl in the Torrance pd

contact Jeff at West Covina Nissan..they usually have stock exhausts laying around

 

usually RS*R or those barrel type exhausts, invidia, Apexi N1 etc... are relatively loud and they do look modified from the rear because of the design... it is almost inevitable for the local authorities not to roll you...

with the nismo it looks like a stock muffler and produces a pretty clean sound so im happy with mines...

good luck on the ticket bro, i know a good sumaritan in here will let you borrow theirs, i cannot find mines anymore since i got a nismo catback in early 2004...

 

thats why i love my exhaust..looks stock and sounds stock below 3-4k rpm

 

I got a stock exhaust from my 04 just laying around that you can use but I am down in Mission Viejo. Let me know if you are interested.

 

I always throw it in 6th when I see a cop but full 3" exhaust is obviously not stock and LOUD

 

mission viejo how far is that from 90260??? and dude in my 6th it just sounds deaper then normal lol
