I'm working the first two days of the event, but I have Sunday off and am planning on going up and participating in the car show. Who else in the San Diego area would like to caravan up? Let's get a list started.

Car show runs from 9-3 and they start parking car for the event at 8am, so it'll be an early start. We want to get up there closer to 7, so as to avoid sitting in too much of a line while they park everyone. We'll be leaving SD at 6am sharp. Meeting place that we'll be leaving SD from is right off the 5 and Via De La Valle (lot circled in the map below). Again, it'll be an early start; we roll out at 6am.

It is suggested that you register for the show, even if you don't particualrly care to compete. It's only $22 and you get a nice parking spot with all the other 350Zs as opposed to a remote gravel lot.

love to drive up with you guys, but i'll be there Sat to burn some of my tires haha, since i'll be there i'll prob stay up there, but see you that Sunday.

 

im in, were gonna have to leave really early, last year i got there at 7am to try n throw another coat before it started and get some last minute touch ups to really shine, there was already a line from hell, the old skool's were rollin deep, im talkin 50+.and that was just in front of me.

How quickly did they get everyone parked? Do we want to try to get there that early again? According to Google Maps, it's an hour 20min drive.

I might have another buddy come up with us too he's getting his gas tank fixed for his 1972 240z, so hopefully he can make it out with us.

Only a few more days to regsiter for the event, so if you anyone wants to get on board or has been on the fence as to whether they want to register for the show or not, time's running out!
