Default one more thing...

Just in case he tells this lie to his insurance company, you can use this posting to document your version of the story. No, it's not definitive proof of what happened, but it sure makes his story look bad. My guess is that the adjuster will not fight you on this one. the biggest fault of the guy is actually going to the CHP late. He really will have a hard time justifying why he did not call the police that day and then did it that far past the date it did happen.

Not to mention the fact that you were hurt. That places him in danger of getting filed on by the DA. I wonder who his insurance company is?

I still have friends is low places

Sounds like the Tundra guy was dead broke and needed the insurance money to get his ride to move again. Glad the guy got caught by his own undoing.

finding the guy that hit you is great news. now is the time for you to go find a chiropractor and get some work done on you're back. better to be safe than sorry.

In all honesty, your back can come back to haunt you even years later from this. Go to a chiropractor facility that scans your back for muscle pull, blood flow, etc. It's well worth it. It's not a scam. Once you sign off from the insurance they are scott free if things go wrong with your back.

I suffer from back ache from years of driving in the field for work. My back hurts almost everyday. Now that i go to a chiro. once in awhile i am almost pain free after a month of off and on treatment. Sitting in this computer chair is not helping i am sure.

I am glad they caught the scum who hit you and ran. My friend just got side swiped and had to chase the guy down. Get this the person that fled the scene didn't even get cited for leaving the scene. Oh well.

Ouch..that sucks. I'll definately give that some thought. My back is still aching after 3 weeks. I'm not sure if this is going to come back and haunt me years later, but I'll have it checked up.
