my gf might be attending ucsd so her orientation is this weekend we are looking for any hotels/motels to stay at tommorow evening around or near la jolla, what is close? mission bay? del mar, miramar, mira mesa, pq?

we're on a budget so nothing too fancy anything is fine really

any suggestions? thanks for your help

yep, hilton is very convenient. Also, if you're staying there, I have hookups at Cafe Japengo, my friend is a chef there, so if you're into fusion japanese food, and want free stuff, hit me up....i'm sure he'll be nice if I tell him to hook you up, haha

The cheapest hotels will probably be in the Hotel Circle area. Just east of the 5 and 8 freeway interchange. It is about 10 minutes south of UCSD.

 

aren't there a bunch of empty frats houses you can get a room in now?

I second that, Hotel Circle is the way to go, always stay there when I'm down in SD visiting my sis. The cheapest place I stay in is called King's Inn, if you want a deal, don't expect a 4 star though

 

Ben sorry I caught this thread late. Anyway if you need a place to stay in deigo in the future. We currently have a few vacancies on our rentals in deigo. If you need to use just for a weekend then walang charge pare

good looking out virg... next time we ended up crashing at some place off miramar called the budget inn...lol it was late night and first place that popped into site near ucsd...
