hey guys, perhaps we should all pit together?

 

I think we should. My friend is gonna follow me in his expedition so we can bring a big cooler and tent, etc.. that is until I mention that we have to leave at 5am to get to the track. fastm3, you don't happen to have any extra helmets, do you?

 

i do, but its so old it is out of spec. and it is a open face. I will check tonight to see if it is even SA95. We need to know who to look for once we get to the track so we can pit together.

 

My car should be pretty easy to find since most people are not crazy enough to paint it the way I did:

If all goes well, there will also be a Ford Expedition parked next to me. I'm trying to find him a helmet so he can ride along with me, otherwise he probably won't come.

how did this event go? couldnt make it cause moving and car is still in the shop

 

this was my first racetrack event I've ever been to, sooo much fun. I ran a time of 2:24.934

i still need some work on my line thru the turn before the esses and the on-ramp. my line is not so precise each lap and definitely towards the end once my tires were hot.

 

i was there on saturday.
there was another Z33 besides mine, but didn't have a chance to speak to him.
didn't have a great day. my brake fluid and brake pads faded.

 

It was good meeting tarzan and fastm3 at the track. I did alright for my first time at buttonwillow, but I definitely have room for improvement. Can't wait to go back.

 

Agreed, pleasure meeting you guys too. If I didnt let my friend drive the two rounds I would have had more track time to work on lowering my time, but regardless i had a blast, next time i drive that far I might trailer the car instead of driving haha.

 

I was there in the Black Z next to the pit interance. I think i was the fastest Z car or nissan product out there. My car an 05 stock suspension Z went 2.06on finished RA1's. i ran 2.06's consistantly for the 2 days i was there. I was in the red group didnt see any other Z's in that group. how did everyone else do?
