Awww F@#$!!! More than likely I will reschedule my Z meet and it'll be moved to the 21st, but first I'll make sure everyone else is cool with it. Let me know if everyone that was going to go is still down to go if I move it to the 21st...

Be careful guys. Last time we went up to GMR, we got pulled over more times than we had cars; we never actually made it up the mountain.

it's great that youre having a meet/cruise in our area but GMR is such a burn... i try to avoid running those canyons as much as possible, unless the people i'm with INSIST on going there. too much bad ****'s happened there.

 

LOL, that thread is funny!!! I've already been there 3 times in the past month just to get a feel for the cops. You're right, they're looking to get "racers" out of there. They hate us coming around and they shut down GMR just to get us to go away. I know this because my cop friend told me, lol!

Out of the three times I went all I got was looks, but nothing else except two weekends ago. I was cruising around Azusa park and I got pulled over. I didn't get a ticket though, the cop just wanted to ask what I was doing and where I was going. I just told him this was a nice city that I've never been to and was just looking around. I told him I'd probably come back to that park with my wife and he just smiled, told me to have a nice day, and let me go.

I'm heading over there again this Saturday, but this time I'm going up GMR to scope it out before the meet. I don't really care too much for cops and I'll be damned if I'm going to let them keep me from driving through and around Azusa!

wow... if it's that bad with cops im out. I dont really have the extra funds with these gas prices anyways! Sorry, but it just seems like a waste of time if there are cops breathin down our necks.
