Some time between Wednesday night last week and today some tried to pry my door handle off so they could get into my car. Doesn't look like they were successful, but now I have a door handle that doesn't sit flush with the door and there is chipped paint all around the handle where they tried to use a screw driver.

I'm so pissed right now. If I didn't have to work all this week, I'd probably be camping out in the garage of my condo to see if they came back. I don't think I have to explain what I'd do if they did come back and I caught them.

Happend to my Z a while back also... Thing is they did it to my passenger side handle, and was completely removed with dents/scratches all over the door/rear panel.

 

Howard, did you go through your insurance to have it fixed or know how much it coast to fix?

Unfortunately not a very good system. I'm definitely going to bring this up at the next HOA meeting and see if I can get some of my neighbors to back me on it.

I would be pissed too. However, I think it could have been way worse. Maybe the pictures do not do the damage justice. The last s2000 I had, someone jacked every emblem on the car with a screw driver. Front bumper, rear trunk, both fenders all scraped up. Ended up respraying the whole car.
