Palomar Mtn Cruise Tonight (6/9)
see:
http://www.g35driver.com/forums/show....php?p=3104216
Palomar is in the Temecula area, and consists of mostly hairpins. The road is well paved, and has no blind crests or blind decreasing radius turns.
It should (and will) be empty due to the day and time we are going.
The bikers out there are probably familiar with Palomar!
The road we're running: http://maps.google.com/maps?f=d&hl=e...,0.033345&z=15
Give me a call for more details.

Sounds like they are just going up/down Palomar a few times. I don't like heading out there at night...too many encounters with animals/trees/other random stuff coming around blind corners! Plus going up/down several times just increases likelihood that someone will call cops on you.
Be safe out there. Don't get busted!

we'll meet the SD guys in temecula.
The slowest turn at palomar can be safely taken at 25+ in a stock G coupe. You Z guys will have it easier
Palomar is not a difficult or dangerous road. The road itself is very wide, with plenty of room for error.
Again, no blind crests, and no blind decreasing radius turns.
This will me the 4th palomar night run; we've been doing them weekly since our um... GMR incident.

Google says 7 minutes.
Yeah, right.

First timer's won't be leading anyways, and we cruise the first time up to check for debris, gravel, etc.
The person in front of you will more than light up the road enough for you; everyone can run with high beams on. The person in front of you only has to turn away their rearview mirror; you shouldn't be looking it it to begin with.
