Default What was your first "head unit"...

The pride and joy for me when i started driving was my 2nd hand system but most importantly was my first head unit which was a Pioneer Premier i purchased in 2000 with the El Organic Dolphin Display...

This sucker went into my first car which was a 1995 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo, then into my Bimmer, my civic Si and lastly sold it along with my brother's Supra.....

JVC KD-G110.

Miserable, but easy to use.

Then I got the Pioneer 680MP.

Now, the best, the Pioneer 880PRS!

I had a tape deck like this one when I first started messing with car audio. Model TDM-7534S.

Old school.

I had a basic eclipse then jumped up to a denon.

I was really into car audio for awhile, but it was just a fad for me.

I don't remember my first head unit, but I remember buying multiple "Boosters" at the swap meet. 12 bands of distorted glory.

went into my 95 civic (that i still own, my dyno queen lolz car wont hook for ****) my lovely pioneer... cant remember the model, sure if i hit up the website i could find it... bought this in 2001, spent $800.00 on the head unit... this still might be one of the best single din head units that pioneer might have to offer w/o nav & dvd... this unit will allow you to COMPLETELY tune the sound... offers the craziest EQ on the market, its nuts. sorry car looks like ****, even worse it STILL has lambo doors, (please dont clown the doors, i was one of the first with them and spent almost 2,300+ from vertical doors lolz sad i know) but since the engine is getting a stroker kit added the car has been down for like a year, will be back on the streets in like 2 months with OEM door hinges hahhaa

hmm... okay, images wont load, let me move the files...brb

WOW... why is photobucket telling me that i cant view my pix! it is saying "image is no longer available from owner!"
i have had these pix in my photo bucket for like 3 or 4 years! now all of a sudden i cant access them when i try and load them or even view them in the editor! this is gay! i cant even access or post any thing recent! i just tried to post some pics on myspace as well... nothing... same [?] sign... sucks ***...
