I might be down for a Los Flores Canyon run. NO MORE AC!! I came away from that run with a cracked windsheild and about 50 rock chips. LFC is a much better road with allot less traffic.

 

Since I probably won't make it to the meet on the 9th...

How about coming to San Diego on the 3rd for autocross at Qualcomm Stadium... We'll have a mini-meet at the event.

I'd love to join you guys and gals on one of these runs soon, especially once I get the Z, but I'll be at Road America next weekend - not that I'm complaining.

If you're bored this weekend, how about a run up the 33 (from the 101) to Buttonwillow on Saturday? The more spectators for the race the merrier!

 

I am down... esp since I won't be able to make the San Diego chill event...

hey OC, i have never been to las flores canyon before, is it good?
that would be a good drive if there isnt traffic and somewhat early morning.

 

Las Flores is great. It's a very challenging road. Last time we went at about 10:45 on a Saturday. I think we only encountered about 3 cars. I like it because it's a 2nd-3rd road where AC was a 3rd-4th road. Slower speeds and tighter turns. Here is some info from a past thread:

You don't have to be 18 (if you're under 18 all you need is parental permission. In any case, you don't have to run... just watch and chill with fellow enthusiasts.

Just playing. I can lead us up there but, I'm not sure of the way over the mountain. HFM lead us last time. I'm still not 100% if I can make it though. I'll let you know.

I think everyone is gearing up for the SD Run. We need to find some good roads down here in OC so we don't have to drive so damn far. Maybe do some week night action.

 

Santiago Canyon and Ortega Hwy are pretty good OC runs...
