Angry Another window problem

So the past week or so ive noticed my passenger window starting to act funny. Its seems to not work sometimes, i see that the drivers side goes up and the passenger stays down. Ive have this problem before with my drivers side window and that had to be replaced. This sucks because its basically like 500$ to fix. Someone reccomend something to do before the window motor goes out?

I can order the motor for you. I will get the model number and prices for you. And I can help you install it also.

Autozone will be your best friend, about $240 each motor after core exchange. I had to do both sides after couple months of ownership. There is even a tutorial somewhere in the forum. GL though, PM if you need more details.

Oh I forgot, they are lifetime warranty too. So no worries.

I've taken apart the window motor 3 times now. It basically gets so dirty that the electrical connections or contacts get gummed up and the gears need cleaning. It amazes me that I've had to do this with the Z window, whereas the window motors for my Dodge Caravan have lasted through 6 Minnesota winters w/o a hitch.

I've had that problem and the solution that works best is to replace the motor with the OEM Motor. You can get it for $171.10 from West Covina Nissan.

It takes less than an hour and easy/moderate to install.....I know someone mentioned 2 hours (I think he counted breaks in between) lol
