Default A-arms worth it?

Just wanted to know for all of those who have invested in installing A-arms on their ride, is it worth it?

My last pair of tires had very bad wear on the insides of the front tires. Although there were many factors that came into play for the wear, I am thinking of getting some cusco a-arms or something.

In your opinion, is it worth it?

Oh and which brand a-arms do you guys use and how is it?

thanks.

I put Cusco a-arms on my lowered Z and found after-the-fact that they have *barely* enough positive (I think) camber adjustment to bring the car back into correct alignment.... barely. The alignment shop said I should be fine, but I would have rather had a little extra room. Going negative (or positive if I have that wrong) - for racing- it had plenty.

There is another brand that has more adjustment, but I can't remember the name.

How about SPL A-arms? A member "crom" wrote a positive review on it, check it out.

If Crom wrote a positive review you can feel comfortable that it is accurate. He's a good guy.

I had my alignment done in May, and I was in the "green" as the mechanic pointed out... but when I took my car to Precision Z and lifted it... they showed me the inner tread wear which made me sad because I just had my alignment done like 2 months ago... so being in the green doesn't necessarily mean a good thing.

So if you have A-Arms installed make sure you have enough Positive adjustment (I believe like +1.5-1.0 at least, Cusco has only +.5) to correct the Negative camber on your car.

Hope this helps, I'm in the same issue of possibly purchasing A-Arms as well, do the research, right now I have SPL as front runners but very costly.

From what I've read, SPL or 350evo do really well.
