Theres a meet in south oc right off alicia and the 5, in the carls jr parking lot.
Its not just a Z meet, its mainly for any cars, so feel free to invite friends with anything from classic muscle to evos, sti's, gto's, whatever they have.

It goes on every tuesday at 7.

Just to let everyone know that there is a conspiracy theory of police agencies signing-up on forums trying to bait more people to come to these gathering only to get trapped and popped. Typically, from what has been observed, the 'promoters' of these meets tend to have very low post counts and could indeed be cops.

There have been times after raids where the poster would delete their messages as if they never invited anyone cleaning their hands of anything.

Not saying that Scope350 is a cop but just letting everyone know of the possibility.

Nope.

Because your car is in a public domain i.e. not your driveway or garage, police agencies across Calfornia have the power to do on-site inspections of your car to find non-Carb compliant equipment. CARB, overall, is a health-related board meaning that if your car is out in a public domain with illegal equipment, in their eyes you are affecting the public's health.

They can also issue tickets for window tint, cars that are lowered too much, decals that might get in the way of your line of sight, no front license plates etc etc.

No longer are you safe just standing around; the cars and you are still targets.

next week you guys should go to the Laguna meet real chill down to earth people that like talking about cars. Anything can show up z's, g's, evo's, subies, american muscle, even a repo guy with a stolen car on the hook!!! no cops!! Just wanted to say thanks to everyone that came out. wasn't bad for our 3rd meet. Had about 20 or so cars. So hoping to grow a bit more every week. Hope to see you guys next tuesday at 7 again.




BTW i think is sad how paranoid the Z and G owners are about meets.

I didn't show up because I had plans, not because I was paranoid of anything.

I don't think anyone here is really paranoid. We trust you, we just had **** to do. Don't expect 100 Zs to show up at every meet.

I didn't mention this before but I do have a thread on it.

I am paranoid and for good reason. I was popped once while I was eating at a cafe with a car meet goin on outside. I did go there for the meet but it was organised and no stupidity was going-on.

Police raided the lot and actually broke into my car as I tried to wait them out. A ticket was issued to me which forced me to take off my turbo system.

I rarely attend meets anymore but not just because of what happened to me it's also that I started getting bored of them. I still love to meet new people especially when we share a common interest but I am ultra careful now.

i was on the freeway minding my own buiness, crusing with a friend an a evo. Before we knew it, 2 cars that were racing, blew by us, we were like whatever. before i knew it, i was getting pulled over. getting charged with street racing, reckless driving and unsafe speed. it was bull.

But ya, hope you guys come out this tuesday, should be a good time.
