Default Mossy Nissan in Kearny Mesa :icon25:

So pretty much I went to Mossy Nissan in Kearny Mesa to have my car realigned. Pretty much first day it went on the rack and after I got back. Reviewing my spec sheet, the left half of the car wasn't even aligned. So I complained to my service rep Ron and brought my car in the next day. They put it back on the rack and told me they couldn't do anything. Be warned that this dealership is a piece of ****. Their custom service is so horrible, my rep didn't even care. Tried to brush me off to a manager who wasn't there. So if your car has any aftermarket parts and you need a realign don't waste your time and money at Mossy Nissan in Kearny Mesa. They can **** off.

That sucks. Sorry to hear. Were you able to get your car realigned somewhere else?

Thanks for the heads-up cbasil.

Kearny won't get a dollar from me....ever.

That sucks..sorry to hear about your bad experience.

I have had the complete opposite experience with Mossy Nissan in Kearny Mesa. Almost all of my car's work has been done there including the clutch recall for the '07. The tech who worked on my car has a Z himself so he seemed pretty knowledgeable.

I'm from the LA-IE area, and it seems like in Diego theres not many shops that are willing to go above and beyond or at the very least do the damn job right.. even though I reside in SD, when I head back to visit friends / family in LA county area i'll get car work done there also.. sad

Sadly, it's the same story with a lot of car/audio/ tint shops around here.

There are rare cases of quality shops, but in general there is no real competition therefore no incentive to go above and beyond.

More aftermarket auto business were opening a couple years back and I was hoping that would change, but the economy isn't helping. That's why my philosophy is..."If you know a good shop be loyal and spread the word!"

When Kearny Mesa failed to fix a problem I had and gave me the most rediculous excuse, I took my car to Mossy El Cajon and had a much different experience. They actually fixed my problem.

+1 for El Cajon.

Speaking of alignments only, Clarence Brown and Tru-line are top notch shops who regularly work on lowered, race, modified etc cars. Good people.

We've had the same problem with them in the past with my wife's Versa. We now go to Mossy Escondido, they seem to be more helpful.

Lutz tires should be able to do it for less than $140 i think. They work on a lot of autox guys. I got my car aligned there.
