you can reserve a spot outside around a fire pit and have a nice city view of LA. great food and drinks but pretty pricey at the same time. worth it imo if shes worth it

Not romantic but, hit up Enrique's for awesome Mexican food and Schooner or Later for an awesome breakfast / brunch.

This restaurant isn't really a "romantic" place, but it's fun and in Long Beach right next to the aquarium. It's called Bubba Gump's... it's a movie themed restaurant. Pretty fun, the shrimp there is delicious.

I haven't been to long beach for a year now, but last time I was there (by the aquarium), the beach was really polluted... oil everywhere.. so maybe ask the locals there which part of beach you can go to! There's plenty good beaches around if that's what you want. Huntington for bon fire night, Newport is a good beach with lots of small shops and restaurants. It's also near South Coast if you want to spend lots of money

If you want to go to a beach, check out Corona Del Mar, it's a bit south, close to Newport Beach. It's a very small beach, but it's beautiful and it's got a nice little lookout point and tide pools right next to there.

Go before Low Tide is over... around 4 or 5? You can catch some hermit crabs n stuff like that... pretty cool. Can't keep them though

I'll be there friday night. Looks like an amazing restaurant.

Tortilla Flats on Lake Mission Viejo in OC is a pretty romantic restaurant. You can get a table right on the lake.
