Default SoCal peeps, what are your New Years resolutions for 09?

2008 flew by fast! We're inching closer and closer to 2009! A new year means new resolutions, or dusting off old ones, LOL. So what are some of yours for the upcoming year? I'll list some and reasons why. Hopefully everyone can offer some input or ideas for each other!

Mine are:

Quit smoking (been smoking for a year now starting to affect me negativly and hurting my wallet, LOL)
Get back in shape (haven't hit the gym since June)
Enroll in Community College (get myself on track)
Save up for a nice set of Volks for the Z (Phantom Black GT-Ss here I come!)
Drive down the hill and spend more time with my cousins and aunties (them being here in town for the holidays made me realize we're not as close as we used to be)
Get around to driving the Z at an auto x and drag track (for some legal spirited driving)
Run 2 miles in under 18 minutes (current best is 20)

That's all I can think of at the moment.

Be more health conscious. I huff and puff just going up and down my house. I may not look like it, but I am way out of shape

-run/jog
-cut down on sweets
-start weightlifting again (regular 3-4x/wk)

It's been nearly three years since I've been health conscious and motivated to stay fit. Hopefully with the new year things change for me.

1. Hit the gym again 6x a week.
2. No more smoking
3. Wake up early
4. Keep the good grades for the later good
5. Save money to do whatever i want
6. Hopefully sell my car so i can get back to "good student" life. Z has raped my wallet and my school grades.

Usually don't do New Year's resolutions opting instead to continue working on life but here's a short priority list:

  • pay off credit cards (mine and wifeys)
  • save money for house
  • work on cardio fitness - running
  • probably look for new job

Damn, you can run two miles in 20 minutes? Damn, I'm doing 15-minute miles at best, lol. I haven't done a mile in 10 minutes since high school... Anyways, mine are:

Build up some muscle (Just got a gym membership last month)
Eat even better than I'm eating now.
Make my Z super effin' fast.

That's about it, I already managed to quit smoking earlier this year, and it's working out great for me.

Haven't really thought of resolutions to make, but off the top of my head I would say...

-Save money. (Don't know for what...just to save I guess)
-Look for a new job.

We should have another thread in a month asking "What resolutions have you already broken?" Haha.

^^ Saving money for no reason is good because you'll find something to buy later down the line!
