Default The BEST Vietnamese Restaurant

If you're looking for amazing Vietnamese fine dining, My aunt's restaurant in fountain valley is nothing short of amazing...def not your cheap bolsa take out,
but amazing fresh dishes that are reasonably priced as well. Ambiance is casual to slightly formal. - great family place as well. I would'nt be bumpin this place if the food was not the real deal.. Yesterday I had a whole catfish all myself. If you're tired of the korean barbecue and the other cheap-o garden grove joints - check it out, you'll be pleasantly surprised.

...Anrdrew - I know you're checkin this thread.

What's wrong with Korean BBQ wise guy but I'm def gonna check out this restaurant. How about we set up a mini meet at this place sometime if so count me in for sure. I love trying new foods and having a nice change from my traditional Puertorican foods.

so it's just beef, onion and tomatoes? No rice or anything on the side?
the beef does look delicious though

Well the dish I get comes with the rice, veggies and the beef itself. My understanding is the rice is included in the meal but I may be wrong. I was hooked the minute I tried you can't go wrong on this. This is the only thing I've tried and I am still looking to try the Pho myself.

Alright Joe, I just got home from Da Lat Bistro. I thought this was just a little hole in the wall type place, but it's actually a pretty decent sized restaurant. Very nicely decorated inside and out also. I ordered the seafood in spicy tomato sauce with a side of rice, which was very good. Talked to you uncle for a bit while I was waiting for my food. Told him that you sent me there and we chatted for a little bit...really cool guy. I'll be going there again soon, maybe take my parents for dinner sometime. I'd definitely recommend this place
