I've recently started to regularly commute my Z (100+ miles daily). As mentioned before, you have to learn what routes to take in order to dodge traffic. Driving a manual in traffic isnt that bad. It gives you a chance to practice precise clutch & throttle control!

What really sucks is the poorly maintained surface streets and ridiculous dips at intersections. Super brutal on a lowered car & rims.

it depends on when you will be driving. If in rush hour times, forget a stick. You will have a huge left leg and an itty bitty right leg. If you are driving in odd hours, go for it.

So pretty you just gotta learn the area that you are planning on driving everyday and making sure you have a back up route in any case traffic is bad one way. Traffic is pretty bad in LA but after a while it will be second nature to you.

BTW Im selling my manual 05 PPW Z with mods. Mods are in my sig, so check it out if you are interested and send me a PM

One more thing...WELCOME TO LA BRO!!!
