not really feelin the vettes... friend had one... Z06... it was a lot of power... i didn't like the interior for some reason. and the damn thing is stiff as a ****... when i hit the gas hard on a turn, feels i'm about to bounce my *** off the road. i donno... i wouldn;t buy a vette even tho they look pretty nice and go lots of juice under the hood.
But for the price, its just extremely tempting. Alot of power for the money...
i think i would get something with a little bit more room for the next car. but the next car probably won't be for a while since i have not had the z for that long. hahaha.
I'm far from rich and wealthy I assure you.... You;d be surprised, If you have it done right and done once, you can get it done for a fraction of what it used to cost - trust me - and friends do help. As far as maintaining...just oil changes., and filling up the meth reservoir...
for me, I'd go FI... unless i have enough money to buy another ride completely out of the circle.. no STI, EVO, Z.. I mean like m3, m5..

U have an HR right?? , just go full bolt on + a reflash and tell me if you need a turbo after that. you'd probably be at 320+ whp BIG dif from the 240-250 I'm probably at. Can't dismiss the HR when most people haven't tapped it's full potential yet , some say it's stronger internals may handle the 1000whp the z gearheads lust for. If I had an HR motor I'd probably wouldn't even bother with FI. (probably) IMHO.
I'd heart ur HR too...
at least gives me reason to go FI
I completely agree with doing it right the first time . And doing plenty of research, most people forget the potential these cars have with a little $$ invested ...what's up with u guys?? everyone selling their car??

not on your life zen... i love the hr... but i was just saying that's all.
well, when i bought the Z, i was looking for a clean evo 8 or 9... but no luck... and riding the crotch rocket around in the summertime as your only transportation really sucks *****. hahaha.

But regardless, the start up costs are high. Anotehr thing that ive been wondering about is how you FI guys get pass those smog tests.
But i def have no intentions of buying a new car, not after all the money thats already been put into mine.
