Partial truth to this. Depends what kind of Racing school your talking about. They have a School to teach people how to recover from spinning, fishtailing, hard braking and in general high speed maneuvers. I wouldn't really call it a racing school more than a Defensive Driving course. I know a girl who took this course when I was in HS and she had her insurance lowered about 80 dollars. If were talking about a Racing school on a track, well I don't see why they would lower your insurance. Even though you may think your showing responsibility by going to the track doesn't mean they think you won't have that urge to race on the street.

i just want to take the racing school classes... i hear it's fun.

but it depends on yoru insurance company also. i have to take defensive driving class for my work, but my insurance won't lower my premium because it's not in their policy. so it really depends. plus, 80 bucks a year isn't all that much, but you will probably gain good experience from the class though.

yeah, AAA only has a certain school that they recognize. I took one for work and asked my agent about it. And racing school is different from defensive driving. You start the process for a competition license in one, you learn how to ABS steer in another. hahahahha

this is what I wanna do someday: http://worldclassdriving.com/exp/details/

a list of the cars:"The five vehicles for this event consist of an Audi R8, a Mercedes McLaren SLR, a Ferrari F430 Scuderia, a Lamborghini Superleggera, and a Nissan GTR. You might ask why a Nissan GTR was included with this illustrious group of exotics. But, the fact is the Nissan GTR can hold it's own against any of them."

For a fee of $1,495 (plus $300 for passengers), anyone can partake of its high-performance fleet, which also includes an Aston Martin V8 Vantage, a Ferrari F430 and a Lamborghini Gallardo Spyder.
