me and my friend were trying to install my exhaust today and realized that the jack we own doesn't really fit under the car. and the stands we have don't lift it high enough to get under/ move comfortably. he told me to ask around here and see if anyone had a lift we could use for a few hours while we install the exhaust.

You don't need a lift unless you're really fat. Just 4 jack stands and someplace to do it safely.
