I got a question. Last time I did one was on my Mazda RX7 over ten years ago and it was a disaster and very costly.I got intake, plenum spacer, headers, cats, and exhaust. I wonder with my mods you guys think I would be able to pass a smog test?

It's a 50/50 think it will depend on how much your airflow has increased.
A safe bet would be to put on your stock cats for the smog, and remove afterwards.

 

i just sold my car and had it smogged with:
plenum
headers
ecu flash
oem cats

it passed. something was a lil high, but nothing over the limit.

i know jeff@westco when he had his z had:
cams
headers
rt cats
ecu
echaust

passed smog as well
