Well for the amount and quality of work he does, paint correction and all, it's really not a bad price. The pricing seems to be competitive for a detail of this quality.
Anyhow, you can try unique detailing in costa mesa 714-580-7146. It's located in south coast plaza in the parking structure for the edwards. A detail which includes a clay and wax will be under $100.
Of course if your paint is heavily marred it will likely cost more....and for under $100, I wouldn't expect the same quality of work as the previous mentioned detailer.

thank u for ur advice, i know how much a detail work usually cost. but $350 is way too much for me. looking for a shop or person who do a qualily work with accpetable price.
BTW, i dont think under $100 can do a detail work

On the $350 you got quoted, did he break it down on what he was going to do. When you detail a car you're just not doing the outside.
Is the scratch the only thing you wanted down on the car or did you need the whole outside of the body. I have my own detail business in San Diego. This is my quote for you. Outside only one step with wash and clay $250. Understand that black shows everything and the result will be whatever we get with a one step process. if you want more than a one step PM and will discuss what I can do for you

Opps sry, you're right that was too much.
From the picture I couldn't tell you if a detail would work or you need to take it to a Body shop. Somebody would need to see it in person to tell you that. I personal don't think a one step is enough to correct that but I'm only seeing the picture of it. If you could try to get a shot of it with the sun hitting it or some halogen lights hitting that area. That should give more detail
