Default Roof damaged from carbon hood flying.. any suggestions

Unfortunately my carbon hood somehow got unlatched and flew up on the freeway and damaged my roof pretty badly... Anyone know if those dent removal services are able to repair it?

temporary fix for now is a CF overlay im waiting for from a good friend, i already attempted to use that huge suction cup item from Pep Boys but it didnt work

thanks

Sucks to here Ben...

I'm not sure if PDR can be done on the roof, they would have to go through the liners from what I know, maybe, maybe not. I hope it works out for you.

Dam bro sorry to hear, guess it's just one of those months.
Is it just damage to your roof? I'm hoping your windshield is still good.
I'd say go with the CF overlay if it covers everything up.

Dayum, that's scary especially on the freeway. A few years ago a similar thing happened to me and the top corner of my fenders bent, hood bent, and windshield cracked on my MR2.

may be possible to do PDR on it. contact David and send some pics to him at sosdent.com. He does great work, as a matter of fact, he will be fixing a dent on my car tomorrow.

I wasnt actually driving it honestly my good friend was ... but despite that the same thing happened, top of my fender corners, hood was slightly damaged atop but cracked underneath but fortunately my window didnt crack

the hood actually stayed on the car but my roof looks analed to shiet, im probably going to take the fender liner off and pop it back up as much as i can and hopefully add an overlay from another good friend

Dude, I really feel for you, you are extremely lucky though...I just had this happen to me at 50mph. Forgot to latch my hood after doing some exhaust work from the topside...knurled my fenders up, ****ed up my roof too..I was actually going to do the same thing, just get a MG roof overlay..believe me..Your roof needs to be REPLACED. 14hrs@44$/hr plus the hood @ cost is 260. Pm me if you want some more info..

I would suggest a nice set of Aerocatch hood pins.

something similar happened to me... but it was more of a piece of wood flying at me. i still have a dent on my driver side door from when the wood took out my side mirror... i also tried that suction cup thing... it failed.

it could've been a lot worse though...
