Hello Everyone!

Just thought I'd take a quick moment to introduce myself!

Although I'm new to the Nissan forums, I'm not new to the industry. As an avid Time Attack and Super Lap Battle competitor, I have been very involved with racing my 05 Subaru STi. My previous job as the Sales/Marketing Manager at Robispec has led me to my new position as Motorsports Director here at Fontana Nissan. I will be registering as a vendor here very soon!

I look forward to getting involved with the Nissan Community here on the forums and at meets. Speaking of which, I heard there are meets in Chino Hills every other week...where's it at and when's the next meet???

Thanks for the warm welcome guys! Yeah, I love my STi...everyone is asking when I will be switching over to the darkside

For the time being...my girlfriend just picked up an R32 GTR...so that will be keeping us busy for a while getting it up and ready to race too! This year we plan to get it complete and out for testing. We will campaign her and the car to race in the 2010 Redline Time Attack season.

As for Fontana Nissan selling aftermarket parts...that's why they brought me over! I am currently in the process of building our Performance Shop. We will be selling parts online and onsite, as well as having the capabilities to do installs and such here at the dealership. We will be known for being a "Mod Friendly" dealership!!! Make sure you come by and say hello!

There are chino hills meets and there's derail meets (pretty much every week) over in diamond bar or rowland heights. you should come out....i'd love to check out that sti. i'll keep you posted in the meets. i live in chino/ontario btw.

 

dont attend the derail meets... those guys are nutz!!!!!

Welcome Scott, glad to have you on this forum. Were u there last weekend at redline time attack willow springs? you guys have a very nice 350z, made me drool a bit. lol

Yup! I was there over the weekend. I ended up taking 4th in AWD Street Class with my STi. I got bumped off the podium on the last lap by Russ Warr.

The Fontana Nissan 350Z is actually piloted by our owner, Mike Cronin Jr.!!! I'm hoping that by working here I will be able to learn to drive via osmosis

 

Nice, i was actually over at streets for POC event but i would look over at the big track every now and then. Got some good shots of some cars on the back end straight on the big track. the falken rx7 drifting turn 3 to 5 was pretty sick and that last time attack race was pretty awesome.

 

yeah, the Super Session is kind of a new thing for Redline. I have a feeling this kind of thing is going to catch on!
