yea im thinking about pushing the trip into august... everyone is saying that july is packed... would have a better turn out if it was august... july is fail

 

hell yeah i have this itch to go fishing. the cudas and sand bass are starting to bite. Would be nice if some yellows start to show up, i hear there some in catalina now but not many biting. i'll keep an eye out on the fish count.

 

yea for sure... i caught 3 cuda right off the jetty over here in dana and my sister caught 4! let me know if you wanna do some jetty and we can go out any day! they are striking!

 

Wow nice, how big are they? you throwing jigs or live bait? I'll be down to do some jetty fishing, what other fish can you catch there? I use to fish off the seal beach jetty's and catch a lot of stingrays, shovelnose shark and leopards. I hear the jumbo humboldt squid (15-30lbs.) are in the area. they're prolly eating a lot of the fish around but they are also really fun to catch. Recent twilight trip out of Davey's Locker they got 163 squid with 43 anglers, thats lotta calamari. I'm thinking bout going sometime soon. Let me know when you're gonna go again.

i don't have a tent, and i think i could save some money if i sleep in some1's tent....

would go to the trip if only I knew some of you like M6SXTZ said. I live like 10 min away from the spot in ventura haha sounds like fun though
