OFFICIAL || D E R A I L // CAMPING THREAD
(as impossible as it sounds... DO NOT DERAIL THIS THREAD much...) i know a kick *** spot right on the ocean out in Ventura that we usta go to when i went with my family years ago, they DO allow drinking and shyt so i was wondering who might be down for this idea... it will just be a leave for the spot Friday mid/late afternoon, get there, set up tents, we all leave sunday afternoon. there ARE HOT SHOWERS on site.
max cash per person is $40
-(deposits will be collected 2 weeks before the trip so no backing out fukkerz!)
bring tents/blankets
we all cruise the Z's (and evo) and there is enough parking for everyone so that is cool... will also set up photo shoots along the beach for some nice shots of the event.
anyone down for this? we will be cooking there as well... im pretty much a ****** chef so yea, steak, shrimp, salmon will prolly be on the menu for saturday night.
how it all works PROPERLY...
at the beginning of the trip everyone will give me their $40 and we will pay for all NECESSARY food, drinks (soda/water/OJ
), and the camping spot (like $25 a day if i remember correctly)... the remaining amount of the cash will be split up evenly AFTER the trip is over... those that do NOT stay the full 2 days do NOT get change. we do it this way so everyone pitches in evenly... this $40 you put in does NOT go towards alcohol, that is separate budget considered personal expense.

Expect to have several fees involved in your bill: Individuals pay a $10 reservation fee, groups pay a $20 reservation fee. The campground daily use fee is another $30
*so it is $30 a day to hold the spot (friday and saturday = $60 + $20 reservation fee since we are group) so thats $80 alone that just goes to the trip.

yes there is a small little building ran by the ppl that work the camping grounds that cook hot breakfast and lunches.

how do the showers work?
bring quarters... you CAN co-edd (if ur lucky ) showers are HOT dont forget soap n such
water activities?
fishing, surfing, body boarding is all acceptable, the water there is pretty nice.
who can i bring?
friends, gf's, anyone is cool as long as they dont complain about everything under the sun
fire?
yes, the group can all chip in for fire wood OR make trips to the lumber yard (secret place) they give away a godly amount of scrap wood (thats what i prefer!)
what should i pack?
remember we ARE by the beach so it WILL get cold at night so please bring warm clothes.

anyone that is gonna come to the trip MUST be known in the group, last thing we want is to get out there with a ****** weirdo that dont click with the group and we all gotta try and figure out ways to ditch the idiot... so anyone interested in coming please try and make it to our mini meets PRIOR to the camping trip so you at least KNOW what ur getting urself into.
derail is NOT for the WEAK or faint hearted... all of the members were all roman gladiators in our past life some please UNDERSTAND WTF YOUR GETTING YOURSELF INTO...
