1. JWT Popcharger dyno:

http://www.nissanperformancemag.com/june03/350pop/

It's also been dynoed for 6 hp gain at Mossy by Greg. In my opinion, this is the only CAI that produces consistent gains.

2. Test pipe dyno:

I forget the proper hp number. It's good for 12 hp.

I thought that is the DOWN PIPE with the TEST PIPES???, not just test pipes.

also, I never believe a manufactures claim (intake), other wise your Borla would add 20-25.

I have head intake is 0-2hp at most

I'll have an idea as to numbers when I take my car for a dyno on November 1, 2003. Regardless of all the dyno charts and claims, all I can say is, from my personal experience, the car is definitely faster than stock.

I would love to see your dyno when you get it done, that is the best way for all of us to know they best direction.

btw, I do believe that you have waaaay more than stock, just trying to figure out how much?

I'll be there 11:45ish. It will be changed out by tomorrow morning so today is the day to check it out.

I understand the resonator will fix the problem. The problem is supposedly with the Borla exhaust that was designed with cats in mind and due to back pressure.

I expect the resonator will fix the issue. I hope to have pics and weights shortly. There is significan't weight reduction.

Total = 31.5 hp assuming no synergy and assuming BTDE only produces 10 hp. Regardless, I'll know with some certainty on Nov 1 after a dyno.

I had Danny, Brent's son drive my car. Danny drove Steve's car as well. He noticed a significant difference noting that my car pulled harder, even though Steve has the Borla headers and highflow cats. I think this has to do with the free reving JWT flywheel.

On Saturday, I plan to try the test pipes with resonator and the high flow cats. I'm hoping that the test pipes with resonator will do the trick because that option maintains maximum power and hopefully sounds okay.

when did danny get in your car ..have you been back since last saturday? Sounds like our pretty annoyed at the raspiness @ around 3500 although I didnt hear it in your car when I went for a ride with you at first. Overall im pleased with the sound and performance it was a nightmare for the guys to install the headers though.

Annoyed? Yup. Fixable? Yup. These guys do a great job and I'm really annoyed that I can't post glowing reviews yet. In a couple of hours, I expect that to change.

I went back later in the week to let Danny drive the car to compare it with other cars that had test pipes. Sure enough, it sounds just like the test pipe that one guy had complaints about resulting in the creation of the resonator option.
