I've tried to choose an area that is accessible for most, not all. Even I myself would have to drive 30 miles just to get to the meet.

Barnes & Knoble might be a good spot 2 because they have massive parking lots usually

If you know of any spots that have a good parking lot and are johnny-law friendly please list those.

Also, to everyone I would want to kick off our first meet on Saturday, August 22nd if that works for everyone.

Well the only places that have plenty of parking spots and are law friendly would be only 4 places. The first being the Cerritos town center, the lot across from the cerritos mall, and the plazas that hold guppies and tea station.
This is because all the locations have a target, walmart, etc. Which all have large parking lots that go unused during the later hours of the day. However their would be places to eat in walking distance.

I think we all like boba/coffee so any place in particular that would be able to accommodate us would be great.

What is the plaza called?

I'm not looking to change locations, it will be Cerritos for sure.

I just wanted to bump it to allow others who missed it over the weekend to chime in if they wanted to attend.

Well I'm not sure what the particular plazas are called but here are the respective addresses.

For Guppies
11803 South St
Cerritos, CA 90703-6825
(562) 865-7288

Tea Station
11688 South St
#101
Artesia, CA 90701

And all four plazas that I mentioned earlier are all only a few blocks away from each other.

Sweet, you're the man.

I think Guppies is the better option with the proximity to the 605 and the available parking spaces.
I've attached a map as well to show the ton of spaces that are available.

Below is the final decision:

Saturday, August 22nd 5pm- 9pm

Guppies Teahouse
http://www.yelp.com/biz/guppy-teahouse-cerritos
11803 South St
Cerritos, CA 90703-6825
(562) 865-7288
