Default Guess who's the #1 Nissan dealer in the USA...

In terms of sales?

I was sitting in the office of one of the fleet managers at Power Nissan in Irvine ordering my new Z (I finally decided - a PPW Touring, 6MT, with all options except nav, getting it trucked in from a dealer in San Bernardino if it hasn't been sold over this weekend) and happened to look at the bulletin board on his wall. He'd tacked up the rank list of the top dealerships in the USA, saleswise last year, and:

Universal City Nissan was #1, Douglas Nissan of Orange was #3 (I think), Cerritos Nissan was #4, and Power Nissan Irvine was #6.

Now, I wonder how the list would look if it was based on customer service and satisfaction?

Based on customer service and satisfaction, Douglas Nissan of Orange would be at the bottom of the list

Well, from personal experience, Universal City Nissan has been really good to me...so far...

After taking my Z home a month ago, I had discovered that when the dealer installed the bumper license plate bracket they scratched the paint in two places.

I called my sales rep at the Internet Sales Dept. and explained to her about the problem.

Long story short...scratches filled, bumper holes filled...looks like a brand new bumper! Gave me a rental @ no charge during the process.

There were no hassels and Universal Nissan handled everything very efficiently.

$.01 + $.01

Cerritos Nissan jerked around and screwed a good friend of mine. He was so bitter that he sold his Z and bought a pre-owned S2000.

Universal is hands down the worst dealership I have ever been to. I will never go back and highly suggest no one else go either. I don't want to retype my experiences there, but if you search I did a post in this section a few months back about them. They should be the absolute last on the customer satisfaction list.

P.S. - can you tell I don't like universal?

In terms of customer service and satisfaction, I gotta say Performance Nissan is at the top. I've never had a problem setting up an appointment for service or anything and everytime I go, Jeff is down to talk about cars. Makes me wish I had more money so I can buy those sweet nismo parts haha.

I don't know about service level but from experiance, Universal Nissan is very knowledgable about Z's.

Here is my experience with Universal Nissan; they tried to sell Z's over msrp from $3-10,000. I went all over southern California shopping for a Z. A number of dealers wanted to rape us because they could. Now, it is our turn and payback is a (you know what ).

Temecula Nissan wanted $5,000 over, Barwick wanted $3,000 over for a used Z, just to name a few. Mossy had a waiting list but was selling at MSRP. I had one on order (red) and decided to go SS instead thus gave up that order and purchased a Z out of state at MSRP in January 2003 and shipped it here. The sweet part is they had it shipped to Temecula Nissan and I picked up in front of the same salesman that told me to give up, i would never find a Z in the 2003 model year at MSRP.

I would say buy parts at Performance Nissan and at Mossy. They sell as low as anyone else and they were not screwing us when then could of like others.

I would rather have my sister in %^%^**house than buy parts or have my Z serviced at those dealers that were asking over MSRP.
