Hi, my name is Amer and I just wanted to let you know about a group drive. Shockwave667 has gotten together with Duc to create the first ever shockwave 667 SPUGEN run! This event will join San Diego, SPUGEN, Irvine, and all other Southern California car lovers together. *** The event is free of charge and is open to all sports car lovers! ***


Where: Palomar (address soon to be revealed)

When: October 19th at 7AM

Any idea how long the run will be and where the end is? I have somewhere to be at 12:00. How long is everyone gonna be there, I'd love to just check out all the nice rides.

I went on a Pre-run with the group leaders and they estimate it to be a 3 hour drive not including stops and such, so if it starts at 8am, probably end around 12ish.

Anyone here go to this, I went there around 7:30 and there were only like 2 guys there. There were cops everywhere patrolling and giving us the eye. We just assumed it got broken up. As I was leaving I came across a small group consisting of a bunch of s2ks, a mr2, and an integ. But it looked like there were just going home.

yeah I was there. Cops were waiting for us to show up and started randomly pulling over people and ticketing them. Front license plate, looking for bad mods, etc. About 30+ of us went up north one exit to see if we could wait it out, when we headed back, still saw cops patrolling and pulling cars over so most left. I headed up Palomar and over to Santa Ysabel, got some pies, then headed home. Getting up that early...had to do some driving! And you always gotta stop to get some pie in Santa Ysabel!

Yea, thats kind of what I figured happened. Sucks, kinda had my hopes up on seeing some nice rides. How did the cops know? Did someone tip them off? I heard that there was actually a Highway patrol HQ right around that exit.

total and utter BS. next time around, the event will be more secretive with the use of PM's and emails. andddddddddd... if we get busted again, it'll be a bit easier to track down who the dirty rat is.
