private event is great and i'm all "game" but if we do hold private event... most likely we would have to set one up middle of the week. If so alot of peolpe will not be able to make it due to work and school.

FWIW I'm in an Evo club and we're looking at going for a private day as well. If you need more people to make numbers, if we pool our lists we could def get enough people to bring the price down. I'd need to check but I think we've got a good dozen gauranteed and like 10 more maybes.

But you'd have to mingle with Evos...

will there be instructors for sure?? this would make my first time on a high speed curvy track, and to top that, i just switched over to kumho asx's (all season tires).

if we do a 'private' track day. most likely track rental is $2k-3k, with $600+ for fire safetytrucks and corner workers. so we'll need a confirmed 30people at $150each to cover it on the safe side.. and this would be something like Streets... weekdays cheaper of course.

i'll look into it..

those two events, speed venture/trials are open to all groups/experience levels..

Called WWIR, for Streets, every weekend in Oct and Nov are booked.

Here are the available dates:

October:
1,13,14,19

November:
2,3,4,5,11,16,18,30


Track rental would be ~$2300 for full day, not including cost of corner workers/ emergency personnel

kinda crappy, but weekdays are the only free times, unless we set the date in 2010....

October is difficult for me and early November I am planning to hit Streets but other than that weekdays or 2010 is fine by me.

What is heck is track insurance? I never heard that before.

not insurance for the cars if thats what your thinking, usually when renting out a track they make you pay for insurance to cover the event.
