So far I've had all my rims rash repaired and bought 2 sets of tires from them and they have done me good....really good
job on the rash repair for sure...best to get the repair done while switching to new tires...Albert is great...

Probably need to get back there soon....my rims are thrashed again...

350z006,
was your just a rash repair or with a full polish?
I need my rash repair and full polish, which means the center (2 piece) needs to come off before the polish.
What's the cost and how long have it been.

they quote me $80 for full polish and rash repair, Albert mention about removing the center (2 piece) prior to lip polish
does that sound reasonable and will they be able to re-torque the center piece?
what is the torque for Volks?

ehh.. i was supposed to go get the full rash and polish there but kinda tried looking around being that most wheels from japan have an anodized finish.. once they polish the wheels.. they have to strip that anodized finish and it will be harder to maintain.. i wish i knew or could find a place that did the anodization but.. Albert said that there isnt a place in the USA that does that work... yet.. i know that you can get your wheels bolts anodized just havent gotten a PM back from the OP that posted it..

if you dont care to have a harder/more often time of cleaning wheels then get them polished.. i was going to take my SSR MS1s (3piece) to get worked on.. but IDK.. might just go out there and say **** the anodization.. lol.

Bluevelvet,

Know what you are saying, Volk comes with a light coat finish, but since my rims been over spray it wouldn't matter to take it all off
going to ask Albert if a clear coat is apply after the polish for a little bit of protection.
