I can still go to traffic school for the first one, but I can't for the second, since I got a second within 1 year. Do you know how long I can wait before I can't take traffic school anymore? I have been putting it off due to my studies, and whenever I call they are always busy. Can't get a hold of them. Im trying to ask what to do about traffic school, like where to sign up and what to do...

i'm not sure what's your asking op. but if you get a second moving violation within 18 months, you cannot take traffic school anymore and just have to get the points.

research the vehicle code you violated, look for it on the ticket and look it up on line. do the "trial by declaration" first and write it in. from my experiences and experiences from friends, if you make half a decent arguement, they usually just let it go because 1. cops hate to sit there and do paperwork, and 2. they probably don't have the notes or remember you specifically.

oh my friends and i ride crotch rockets a lot on the streets and canyons before, we used to get a lot of tickets on a monthly if not weekly basis.

but these days, cops show up much more often. I HEARD that they are paid to go to court now just because this way, court can fully charge the ticket, therefore generating more revenue.. not 100% sure..

as for how long you have until you can take traffic school for your first ticket, just call any local traffic school, tell them you had a ticket at (time), and can you still go to traffic school for it. Then u sign up, take a whole day in school.. afterwards, they mail the certificate to court.

if you could still go to traffic school for the first one, do it.. but you can't do it for 2nd one.. UNLESS you get an attorney.. my attorney always get me traffic school, therefore no points on record, dont know how he does it but he does.. or else my license would have been long gone.. haha

I've taken the online traffic course and recommend that. I paid less than 30 for one and took 3 hours. this was two years ago since my last ticket knock on wood. definitely recommend a radar detector since it increases your awareness of your own driving as it helps to remind you about police.

radar don't work for chp's, the just pace you.

m0nkie, what i was talking about is writing it it first before you even go to court. even if you lose on the write-in, you can still go into court and ask for traffic school.

cops always go to court now. they get paid overtime if it's on their day off.

you might get the point off on DMV by going to 12hr traffic school.
but insurance company can still see it and they don't count 12hr traffic school.

so, if you do 8hr and 12 hr traffic school, 0 point on your dmv record, but 1 point on
insurance company record.

So I found out that I can still take traffic school for my first ticket. When I called, they said they would send info on taking traffic school. Do you guys know what kind of info they are going to send me? I went to the oc courts website and found out how and what to do about traffic school, so I don't know if I need the info they are going to send me. I want to take it and get it over with, but they are not sending the mail to me, and I paid long time ago. Should I wait for the mail or just go ahead and take traffic school?

no plate on the rear? Or just the front? Where your windows tinted more than the legal percent?

there is no legal percent, you can get a ticket for any type of tint on your two front windows. Just got my third the other day.

You are getting f*cked by the long dick of the law if you are paying for your tint tickets. The windshield cannot be touched with any percent of tint, the two front sides can be 70 percent, the rest can be as low as you want.
