Default where to get washers?

Hi all.

I'm trying to find where I can buy crush washer for engine oil drain plug, and washer for trans/diff fluid plug.

I searched some websites and they charge more around $11 for either handling or shipping.

I called around some local dealers around LA and they quoted me more than $5 per washer.

It seems too much for those washers..

anyone know cheaper place I can get them?

thanks and have wonderful christmas.

Try pepboys are autozone, they shouldn't be more than $2 or so. Or just go to a local shop and ask to buy one from them.

honestly though I have never replaced them. They seal really well and don't really need the washer. 60k miles and I have never had any leaks.

just this my stuff this past weekend. it usually less than a buck for the oil drain plug washer and 3 something for the washers in the diff. i figured its a few bucks might as well do it right.

my friend whos a tech at audi laughed me for buying it thou. and he laughed it me for asking how to measure the deflection on my alternator belt and ac belt. man i hate that guy hahah

I just ordered fumimoto valve so I don't have to replace crush washer anymore.

for diff/tranny, I guess I will just re-use them... or try autozone ( I will reply here with price if I buy from autozone)

thanks for help guys!

$5 is for a bag of crush washers. My bag had something like 30 of them.

Is Nissan the only manufacturer that requires a crush washer? No other car I have worked on or owned used them.

toyotas have different washers, and yes you should change them and not reuse the old one.

they're like a quarter each or something. but 5 bucks for a bag isn't bad... lol.
