Default Need Recommendation: Wheel Shop to Fix Volks

Hi guys,

my luck this week has not been good. First I got my valve stem caps stolen. Now I hit debris on the lovely 5 freeway going home early from work cuz I felt like crap and then my wheels got jacked up. I have a huge scratched up dent on the side of one of my wheels right where the lip meets the tire. My other wheel is also scratched right on the lip.

To top it all off, my T1-S had a nice big piece of metal stuck in it from this incident and my tire shop is telling me I may need a new tire....anyways, please help me out if you guys know of a place to fix up our rims at. I appreciate it.

I know a good moblie person that does awsome wheel repair. The sevice is called Wheel Recon and the owners name is Mike.

He mosly does reapair onsite at Mercedez Bens Dealerships and Lexus Dealerships so hes real good. He aslo come to your home.

Wheel Recon repaired a few of my mistakes when I accidently curbed my rims and from an unforseen accident. The prices were reasonable.

I curbed one of my Gewalt Evo II wheels and I also had a set Ro_Ja formula 5 wheels damaged from an accident on my last car.

I called mike and he fixed the rims in a timely manner coming to my home. My Gewalt rims were just fixed and you cannot tell any damages were there.

The damage Ro_ja were on 2 wheels (they were also gun metal with a polished lip). Wheel Recon polished and repaired them to look like new. I was glad because I sold them to put a down payment on my Z.

Its will all depend on the clear coat on the Volks. If the damage is on the gun metal part of the rim it may have to be to repowder coated.

Well talk to Mike and tell him your situation. Heres the number to Wheel Recon (714) 457-4323.

I know it sucks hope the bad luck goes away for ya. Hope this helps.

Thanks to all of you guys and jimster too. I'm gonna check out all of the options you guys have listed. My damage on my wheel
is kind of similar to 2003Z (good luck btw) without the curbrash but kinda like a direct dent like a bullet hit a point head on...

Thanks again guys. Much appreciated. If anyone knows any others places worth mentioning, keep it coming. Peace.

I'm reviving this old thread

I just purchased a set of GT-7's from a member and the (front) rim is bent, not that bad but enough to irritate me to get them fixed. So before I ask him where he will take them, I want recommendations from you guys.

The GT-7's have a forged outer piece. Fixable? If so, where? I am located in OC but will travel further for a reputable place.

In advance, Thanks.
