Hi all,

It has been a sold three years running with you guys but I must now say my goodbyes(..tear). Due to that crazy storm we had for a week, I hydroplaned on the 57 into the center divided, caught air and left some damage on my baby. The shop I brought my car into I guess charges an arm and a leg and the est. damage is worth $17,500?? Do I think its totalled, NO!! Anyway, my insurance is totaling my Z and I'm feeling pretty shitty both mentally and physically....maybe sexually too.

After my loan is paid off, I’m receiving 10K so I’m not sure what I'll buy yet....but definitely trying to pay something off as I will be buying a house in a year. It has been a true pleasure meeting and getting to know the Z community. You will all be missed. Good luck to all and drive safe.

Sucks to here about this. I have been in more close calls on that 57 than the 91 fwy. Glad to see your are ok.

seriously?? it's totalled? unless there's frame damage it doesn't look that bad... unless the suspension member is tweaked or something.

wow... good thing you're ok. car can be replaced. but really, i'm still suprised that your car is totalled. i've seen older cars with more damage than this and it's not totalled.

first glad your okay......why dont you buy the car back from Insurance the damage doesnt look all that bad....maybe insurance will sell it to you cheap and you'll have a paid off car.....

 

At lease Headlights and wings are in great condition. Swap it with some one and make money out of it.

Sorry to hear about that man. I'd lost my 350z in a flood up in North Cali (got pics that make your accident look like a scratch). No reason to leave the forum though. I went and bought a 370z a couple of months ago... no regrets.

 

Just 'cause your **** is gone doesn't mean you have to leave the community. :P I switched from a Z to an Evo and I'm still here because the Z community is WAY nicer and cooler.
