Attn: 2006 350z owners with Bose Stereo
I started a thread like this in the Audio section, in case noone checks that.. I'm asking for a huge favor-
I'd like to try my 2005 bose stereo in your 2006 to see if the steering wheel controls work. If so, i'm going to transplant some controls into my 2005.
Why not change my headunit you ask? No reason to, the car is my girlfriends and it's nice and simple. Keeping this cheap.
So if anyone out there has a 2006 (or maybe 2007 if it's the same) and has no qualms with taking the dash out to try my radio I'll buy a case of beer or something... I can open the dash in my 2005 in 2 minutes with my eyes closed it's so easy.
Thanks guys...

What city do you live in?
A few weeks ago I took my dash apart to replace the cubby compartment and I'm having a hard time putting the damn dash back together . There's a white plastic box just behind the AC controls that I just can't align right to pop the dash back in. So my dash currently has about a 1/8" gap all around it since I can't pop it back in. If you can fix it for me, I'll let you try your stereo in my car. It's an '06 by the way.

Calin-
Hey bud - follow your posts all over the place man...
I live in Garden Grove, I can help you with that white box, that is the AC control unit and is fun to pop back in place.
Your 06' has steering wheel audio controls, yea?
