Was driving to work today, going the normal 70 (on cruise control). This is a small back highway onto Cornado Island. Anyway, see the cop, watch her put it into gear as approach and pull into the lane next to me as I pass. By this time, Im like "god dammit, thats for me, im gonna get pulled over" less than 10 sec after this, she gets right behind and on come the blue and reds. She told me I was going over the max speed of 65, no matter how much over, it was still a violation. Gave me a written warning, and off I went.

Now, for anyone who doesnt work here, the police on this island have a nickname, "Coronazis." They are ruthless. Thats why I was positive I was getting a ticket.
When she gave me the warning, I cried in relief haha.
Not a good way to start off the day, not a very bad way either though.

Any San Diegans out there, watch out for the Coronazis, theyll getcha!! lol

but ya.. cops are giving out so much tickets now.. the CHP that pulled me over on the 15 said they catch at least 50-60 cars a day and my Evo stood out like a sore thumb

It looks just like a ticket, but its a warning. I didnt know written warnings existed either, until I got one haha.

 

Anyway, glad you got off with a warning.

 

yeah i hate how they trail you first and then eventually pull you over -_- especially going around the 5 north or 805 north
