Hey Everyone,

Hope everyone who went on the Avocado Cruise Sunday had a good time. For me it was the best Avocado Cruise to date. Lots and lots of Z32’s (approx 35) which always makes for a great cruise. It was pretty much a Z32 only cruise with a couple of Z33s and a pair of Z34s, the rest of the pack was all Z32s. I think that was the record amount of Z32s I have ever seen on a cruise!!! Glad to see the Z32s still has what it takes even after 20 years. I guess that’s why I love the car so much…

Ok so if you didn’t get a chance to make it on the Avocado cruise, or you enjoyed it so much you want more… We are having another cruise next Saturday April 17th@ 7:00am, this is a special treat and a completely new cruise for everyone involved and sure to give you a fun filled Z day. I am suggesting everyone who goes to print out the attached 10 maps and this email I don’t want anyone getting lost in Hollywood.

Jay Leno Cruise

The SDZ32 club will be meeting at 7:00 am at the McDonald’s in Sorrento Valley (see attached Map Sorrento Valley Meeting Spot). We will then head up to Hollywood to meet with the other Z clubs in Los Angeles. Directions to the Hollywood Meeting Location: 101 North (Hollywood Fwy), take exit 12b Ventura Blvd/ Studio City, turn left at Campo De Cahuenga, turn left on to Ventura Blvd. we are meeting in the first parking lot on your left (See Map Hollywood Meeting Spot). SDZ32 Club is expecting to arrive at the Hollywood meeting spot approx. 9:30am. Once all the clubs are gathered we will head south down Ventura Blvd. turning right onto Mulholland Dr. (See Map 1) Here we will head up into the hills of Hollywood to our staging area Laurel Canyon Park at 8260 Mulholland Dr. (See Map 2) From this staging area we will start the official Jay Leno cruise (aka The Fast and the Famous / In Search of Hollywood’s Hidden Street Circuit) driving on some of the most famous roads in America for a 13 mile cruise (See Map Cruise Overview and Maps 3 - 6). If we have time we may make another lap around the 13 mile loop.

Universal City Celebration of the 40th Anniversary of the Z car

After this we will head to Universal City Nissan to participate in the celebration of the 40th Anniversary of the Z car (See Map 7). Please go to their website and RSVP http://40th.universalcitynissan.com/40th/index.php

Upon Arrival at Universal City Nissan at Noon, everyone will be greeted by a free lunch by world famous Kogi BBQ Tacos (http://kogibbq.com), courtesy Universal City Nissan. A local radio station will be broadcasting the latest tunes along with 40th Anniversary prizes and giveaways. The grand finale will be the unveiling of both the Nissan 370Z 40th Anniversary Edition and the Nismo number 1 Edition 370Z. Local press media and at least two Japanese Automotive magazines will be covering the event. Driving Directions for 13 mile Jay Leno Cruise from the Staging Area:

Exit Laurel Canyon Park turn right onto Mulholland Dr. (Map 3)

Turn right onto Laurel Canyon Blvd. (Map 3)

Turn right onto Sunset Blvd. follow W Sunset Blvd. into Beverly Hills (Map 4)

Turn right onto N. Beverly Dr., turn left to keep on N. Beverly Dr. (Map 5)

Then stay to the right N. Beverly Dr. will turn into Coldwater Canyon Dr. (Map 5)

From Coldwater Canyon Dr. make a right U-turn onto Mulholland Dr. (Map 5)

Take Mulholland Dr. back to Laurel Canyon Park Staging Area (Map 6)
