It's probably just a combination of dirt, water, and road grime that has made it's way in between the threads. I have a temp set of coilovers on my car that had the same issue, but was resolved with wd-40, a rubber mallet, and a little force.

^^Ive installed about 4 sets of them on locals cars (Z's and G's)...they have yet to have any issues with them... some track/drift on them - others are show cars that are slammed...etc.. Ive wanted them for a long time - just could never afford them until now. Just really depends on what YOU want really..

If you bought them used, it's possible the shock body was bent due to impact.

Happened to me when I bought a set of JIC FLT-A2's off of someone that tracked their car.

Found out when I took them to get rebuilt. JIC couldn't take one of the rear coilovers apart because it was bent a degree or two.

Hope this helps, sorry I don't have any pics.

I have the same problem here with new one!! what bars do you use to put it through the fork and turn?
I used the car jacking up tool bar, the one under the trunk, but it's too long. I could turn 3/4 but then there's too many things in the way.
The coilover has about 20 miles on there over 5 days.

Thanks brotha! We already worked out a deal though. Since they were stuck, I bought the coilovers back and I'll just resell them on here for really cheap since they can't be adjusted. He got some new coilovers.

Sure, sounds good. I was thinking of just reselling them as they are for cheap, but if you can break them lose, that would be cool. What days are you free?

Like them alot bro, thanks for the great work. I made about 2" holes to access the rear dampening, I can get all the access now, woohoo... Going to lower the front more, when the rain is actually stopped.
