Exclamation Front Stance GR+ Coilovers stuck - HELP!!

I have them installed about a week ago and have been trying to adjust the height on the front but have no luck. The damn lower tube thing just won't turned, looks like it is seized or something rusted in there, I googled and found different trick to try but still no luck.

Anyone has experience this before? What did you do to it? Any recommended shop that would have better chance to solve this?

FYI, tried one shop in Irvine area, they gave up and recommended me going to a performance shop, that after spent almost a whole day just trying to turn the front coils.

HELP!!

^wd-40 or another oil, spray it on the threads, let it sit for a while. Take a rubber mallet and tap around the lower cup to assist if needed.

are you doing this on or off the car? i noticed it was easier to get more torque on the car than off the car. all the locks have been loosened? cause i know theres a midsection that holds the brake line in place.

I noticed that using the perch tool and a regular hammer usually helps break it loose. i usually hit the perch tool down the handle rather than the tip. not sure if that makes sense or if you've already tried that.

Yes, yes and yes, on and off the car, tried both and different ways. Loosen the bottom lock but the bottom sleeve just stuck , can't turn the thread into it. Where do you get this perch tool? Never seen it before.

Attach the strut to the car, but move the lower control arm out of the way and leave the brake line off the mounts.

Next, put a bar through the bottom fork and rotate.

If needed, use an adjustment arm on the adjustment collars for the spring to assist in holding the strut still

The perch tool is that coilover adjusting wrench.

wd40 and a rubber hammer should of work with patience

I would do this off the car seeing you may brek or damage paint or whatever while it's on the car...

patience I did a full suspension job the other day and it was cake up until the front...it was a paint to get out even with spring compressors..took a break when back at it...B!tch came out...

If the strut is attached to the car and you force the bottom fork to turn then won't you damage the three bolts that hold the strut in place? They seem to be weak.

How was this a dead thread? It was just made a few days ago. And I'm the guy who sold him the coilovers, so I want to help him get them adjusted
