low traffic twisty drive!!!!
So in my weekly venturing of Sandy Eggo I found the So. Cal version of Mt Akina... and I didn't even see another car the whole time....
Everyone knows of Palomar Mt... well on the way down the E grade road (Lake henshaw side) turn left @ 76 then right on "center loop Rd." then another right up Mesa Grande Rd. and you have found nirvana
I know people will complain that it isn't that long... but it is steep and windy!!!
up hill is no challange... as tsuchiya says... "real men race down hill"
for the down hill:
coming from Santa Ysabel... turn right on Mesa Grande Rd...
it is a loooong straight then some little twisties on the way up the hill... be patient and then it will lead you there
Mesa Grande Rd cuts the corner from the 76 to the 79...
just thought I would share...

Knew about the road long before this post. Great road but watch out for cows, they are sometimes on the side of the road. Motorcycles love that road to. There is a great place for food at the bottom, The Hideout Cafe.
