Hey guys been on the forum for a while but never had time to make threads.
Anyway im stationed in England right now and im moving down to Edwards AFB somewhere outside of LA. I's so stoked because it's about time I get to somewhere that speaks AMERICAN english. Well first of all what's up with the SMOG thing? Any good places to drift? O yeah parts, it's about time i boosted the Z! Any help will be appreciated!

There are a couple turbo kits that are carb legal but won't be cheap. There are a few open drifts events that go down at Willow Springs and a lot of other places. Let me know when you're ready to turbo that Z and welcome to Cali!

I work out at Edwards too. I'm a flight test engineer for the F-35. What unit are you going to?
Willow Springs is like 20 minutes from base. Not much in the local area but LA is an hour and some change away.
As for SMOG, there are always ways around that. just need to know the right people

^^I wont be there till june so i think that it will be prime time for track time. Willow springs sounds like an awesome place. I want to compare the European style of drifting to the West coast style.
Awesome making some contacts already. the only thing i know is ill be going to the 412th MXG. So hopefully i get to see some cool stuff!

Look up Just Drift , also you can come up to Vegas for Vegas Drift.
Edwards was first on my list coming back from Okinawa, i grew up on Edwards. Being so close to Willow Springs, 110 miles from Cal speedway , 130 miles from Buttonwillow raceway and 225 miles from the Vegas tracks would be awsome.

I am in CA the two CARB legal kits i want are either the Greddy Turbo or the Vortech Supercharger system.
Dirfting their are a bunch of events that always pop up near willow springs (as someone already mentioned) and i think irwindale speedway and fontana speed way have events too. But i know that fontana does 1/4 drags as well.
