Default ///M Fest

Hey guys, my cousin is a lead member/creator of the whole ///M Fest thing and I am going to be in his M5 Cara vanning to Vegas from SD. Last year the group broke the world record for the most BMWs cara vanning or something like that.

So anyway, just wondering if any of you are going?

I've been to a few MFEST meets in socal (not the big show in Vegas) and they have some nice cars, but most of the owners act like they're the chit. Sure they have money, but they're totally not as cool as most of the 350Z crowd that I've met. Just my opinion

I'm going with the company Revinora. They're the company that has the matte red and black M3 that you see in the video.

M3 owners have no friends.

Despite that, I support you, because E92's are sexy.. However, if it was me I'd go for the 335i Coupe.

After a lap in a BMW, the owners manual requires you to wash & wax the entire car including the pedals. You never know when a car show judge will show up to critique your Bavarian beast!

P.S. No I didn't go to Mfest, but I wouldn't mind owning 2007 E60 M5.

Damn I was too busy to come back to the thread and see the replies. Well the meet was epic...seriously. The guys had some really nice cars and they weren't as douche as i thought they would be.

My cousin is one of the main guys that set up the event, I could ask him the specific details and work on setting something like this up for the Z guys. What do you guys think??

I actually talked to him about it, and he said he gauge interest in the Z community. They all stay at the palazzo in vegas (250+ cars showing) with their own private parking lot. They have a wristband which they purchase (around 300) plus they have to pay for the room and track time (i think). I'll get the full details later.

Everyone caravans to barstow from wherever they're from. Then from barstow they caravan to a huge parking lot and take pics etc. After that they go down route 66 and had a helicopter with a guy to count all the cars to try to break the world record of most Ms in a caravan which they beat last year of 500+.

The first day they have a track day at some speedway close to Vegas, and go to club llavo at night (no cover for wristband holders). Second day was a car show during the day, then Tao Beach Club (upstairs) at night which had no cover and open bar till 11pm, and third day was Tao beach club pool party during in the daytime.

All in all it was a fun meet, let me know if you guys would be interested in something like this... i could definitely set it up if there are enough people willing to participate.

I'm working setting some stuff up, i need to post outside of socal to gauge interest... turns out it was only 150 for guys and 60 for girls for the wrist band which included free entry to clubs and events (track and car show), but it is extra to race and people had to pay for their own rooms at a discount (150/night) at the palazzo hotel.

We would use a different name so there aren't any issues with the group who set up Z days... shoot, Zfest isn't a bad idea haha
