Default What do you guys suggest for New Years?

Hey SoCalers, I am going to be visiting LA after Christmas around New Years day. Any suggestions on what to do, where to go? I'll be going with the girlfirend, but I don't think I'll be taking the Z. For some reason I don't feel to safe taking the Z out of town, go figure. I think she wants to hit up Magic Mountain, and some good restaurants. But other than that we don't have any plans, especially for New Years. Any suggestions? Also is it safe taking the Z? I think we'll be staying around Torrance. How about Magic Mountain, safe to park there? If not I think we'll just take her RSX. Thanks forany help people.

Sneak Preview Night at the LA Auto Show on December 30. It's a chance to see the show before it opens to the public.

Or, come to the normal opening day on January 2.

Our new web site should be up later today with info about the 2004 debuts, concepts and aftermarket exhibitors.

You might wanna check the hours on Magic Mountain cause they have different hours in the off season. As far as parking goes there, the lot is so big it shouldnt be a problem. Just dont be the first to get there and dont be the last to get out of there. With anyplace you go you gotta worry about dings and stuff, but shouldnt be a problem. As far as nightlife, not much in Torrance that I can think of, but just cruise on down to the Westside (aka Sunset or Hollywood) and hit up some clubs/bars and there's also a bunch of nice restaurants in the area. As for New Years Eve, book early cause every place gets crazy and charges extravagant amounts for cover charge.

I can tell you more if you tell me what you guys are into (i.e. dancing, eating, clubbing, drinking,etc...) and also your age and ethnicity cause LA clubs/bars have certain nights for certain people if thats what your into. Im only saying this cause on any given night, for example, you can hit up a club and it will be Asian night and then the very next night it will turn into a Salsa club. Hope this info helps and have fun while down here.
