SoCal07HR's Build thread
Hey everyone. Just bored today and decided to make a build thread to document my progress. I'll start with the mods I already have done, post up my future plans, and update regularly (all for your flaming pleasure). I really just want to post this up for my own motivation. Thanks for reading.
My first mod was my StopTech 6 piston front, 4 piston rear with 355mm rotors all aroud. I love these brakes, stopping power is awesome, and they handle heat very well.

I was shocked when i test fitted the brakes in the stock wheels and they fit. I was planning to wait to install them till I got wheels but they fit so I put them on. There are no spacers required to fit this setup.

My plan was to install my brakes then get wheels and tires ASAP, but I wanted more power so I put wheels on the back burner for a while.
On went GTM resonated test pipes, Motordyne XYZ pipe with resonator, Motordyne 3 inch single exhaust, and Nismo intakes with AEM dryflow filters. The P/N of the AEM filters that fit with the Nismo Dual intakes is 21-202D-HK. Also tucked my bumper for the single exhaust.

Then it was time for a tune. I decided to go with Church Auto because of their experience. Osiris tune netted a total of 317.220 HP @ 7300 RPM and 277.928 TQ at 4200 RPM. I know the dynapacks read higher numbers and also that church is famous for having a magic dyno, I dont need to hear it. I plan on getting the car on a dynojet when I get a chance.

That pretty much brings us to where I'm at right now. I have a few things waiting for me to install. I got some 19x9.5 19x10.5 +22 Volk TE37 time attacks, Ray's lug nuts, front and rear GT Spec braces, and a Nismo finned diff cover.

Next up will be tires so I can put my TE37's on, Coilovers, Lot's of parts from SPL, and some anti-roll bars to finish off my suspension. Stay tuned! Pictures of Volks installed comming soon. As it sits:

I'm still trying to decide on coilovers. It's slowing down my build quite a bit. After changing my mind a bunch of times, I think I will be going with KW V3 or Clubsports.
Thanks, yeah I'll be doing my whole suspension at once. I'm starting a pile of suspension parts. SPL stuff is coming, I'll be going with whiteline or hotchkiss sways, and I need to decide on coilovers and order those.
Mostly track. Gonna keep it streetable though. Track days at Willow, Drags at Fontana, standing mile events, and eventually a Silver State Classic or two. Just gonna build it up slow and use the best parts available.
Haha, yeah I plan to correct that when I get it on a dynojet. I figure no one should have a reason to flame me about it as long as I admit they are high, what bugs me is when people get their dyno sheet from church and act like the dynapack is calibrated to dynojet readings.
