Default Spacers-Track- Fitment questions

Yo so i did a few searches and when i looked up topics on spacers and the track ..seems to turn into an arguement.

For you local track runners any good trusted brand that youve run on?

Since im not blessed with perfect offsets it seems like im about 3/4 inch off from the look im going for. But i dont want to go and buy some 25mm spacer and it ends up poping further then i expected. Do you get the distance from the edge of the tire to the fender? I am really crappy with measurements. Any tricks of the trade?

Pic for reference thanks!

so throw on spacers and create issues you don't have?

non-sensical. buy more aggro wheels next time.

If you plan on tracking your car I would sugguest not running spacers. I have heard horror stories about wheels falling off because of lug nuts coming loose or studs breaking because of wheel spacers. If you just have to have that "stanced" look then put them on for when you just going to a meet to "hard park" but take them off when you are going to drive hard.

I ran ichiba 25mm spacers on all 4 corners with 0 problems at the track ever. They were the V2 with the built in studs, hope that helps.

so long as you get BOLT ON HUBCENTRIC spacers you should be fine. if you plan to run slip on spacers, please make sure you buy extended wheel studs to compromise with.

if your spacers do not come with hub centric rings, purchase them.

Just buy ichiba V2 spacers. They're all hubcentric with built in studs...only spacers I trust.

technically built in studs or bolt-on spacers are categorized as wheel adapters.

slip on spacers without studs are wheel spacers.

but yes ichiba v2 would be ideal for him. affordable and everything is included.

V1 , comes with studs, much better , lighter and stronger. Keep the studs you have pressed into a steel hub instead of converting to an aluminum hub like a v2 does. I have run Ichiba V1 for the past 4 years without problem and have plenty of racetrack milage.
