Hello! We will once again be doing a Palomar Mountain Cruise this coming Sunday. We will be meeting up at Jamba Juice at this address 10724 Westview Parkway, San Diego, CA at 7am and will be leaving no later than 7:30am.

We will then head up the 15 and make a quick stop at nessy burger to re-group and meet up with any north county people that want to join us. We will then head up Palomar mountain and then down the east grade. We will most likely then hit up Mesa Grade and Wynola Road before making it to Julian for Pie and Ice Cream. We can then choose to part ways or follow me to Sunrise Highway and out to highway 8.

Depending on how many cars come and how long we stop in Julain the cruise will probably take about 2-3hrs.

Going to be running the SVTA at Auto Club speedway otherwise, would be there since it sounds like fun

 

But it is so worth it! Need to go early otherwise you will be stuck behind grandma and her station wagon and it will ruin your day.

 

Got my new Hotchkis Sway bars on today really looking forward to putting them through the ringer at Palomar on Sunday :-) I have them on full stiff front and rear right now gonna do a mini cruise tomorrow and see if I need to change them around or not.

I've been trying to get some used hotchkis sways for a couple of month's now and it never seems to work out

Anyways, I might make it to this! but is this the group that set up a mountain cruise a while back and bailed last minute because they partied the night before?

 

WetDreamZZZ and I partied the night before and still showed up. Bubbleguts just made us drive faster!

Just go lock to lock with your wheel and you'll be good. Do you have an HR? 2nd gear is perfect in both Zs but I rarely hit the rev limiter like WetDreamZZZ was.... But, he's a better driver, so it doesn't really matter

 

Nope, I have a DE. I just hope I don't fall too far behind and get lost....

 

There is no way you can get lost. Once we start on the actual mountain, there is no where to go but up. Unless you pull a U-turn. I thought the same thing. Its a casual cruise mixed with some spirited turns. When I went everyone was super cool, no one is ricey about it, just go at your own pace and turn left at the top!


Im so stoked. Ive been lookin forward to it all week. Gf is draggin me out to PB, I just want to go to bed cuz I feel like a kid on xmas eve!

 

I wouldn't say I'm a better driver I've just been there more than u.

 

Don't worry man it's not a race by any means. We just want everyone to be safe and have everyone drive within their and their cars limit. Most of all have fun and eat some famous Julian apple pie Yum!
