Hey all, I'm looking for a shop in the San Diego area that will install test pipes for me. I've looked around at a couple of exhaust shops, and the ones I've talked to won't do that kind of work. A line on any shop in the area that will do that for me would be super appreciated! Thanks!

Look up Group 5 Motorsport. Theyre are rather expensive, but will get it done right the first time. Also I think there are a couple members in the area that do house calls as well.
edit: Had my brakes done at my house by Bryan (see thread link) Im not sure if he is doing house calls anymore but you can PM him https://my350z.com/forum/southern-ca...d-more-18.html his sn is Bryan@KTM. Good luck!

Not sure what part of the county you are in...I have had exhaust work done at Richards Performance Muffler in the Vista area (North County). Their work is pretty good.
Down nearer to San Diego, could try the shop next to Pann Auto (Kearney Mesa). And, if you want to do them yourself, I can assist. I live in North Park and have swapped HFC for stock cats and then back to HFC's. Not that hard.

WTF?! Where were all you guys like a week ago?!
Not to thread hi jack, but let me know which way you go to OP. I will also need help installing HFC's and my HKS.
Good Luck!
Note: Cheapest I've found via craigslist was $80 for "help"

I live in North Park as well, so this might work out. How much would you charge to swap out the cats with some motordyne ART pipes? Yeah it doesn't seem too bad, but I don't have a garage so it's always a pain in the *** for me to do any kind of work myself.

Actually I called richards this morning and they told me flat out they wouldn't do it unless it was a race car brought in on a trailer

Check out Ledezmas muffler shop in Chula Vista. Go to #1 shop on Broadway not #2 shop on main street. Everybody in South San Diego knows they do the best work for the lowest price.
Also check out Beyer supreme tires in San Ysidro the Owners Son (who is usually at the front desk) Is real chill and always hooks it up. They do everything there its not just a tire shop.

Hey guys, the mechanic that did all the work on Z's at Group 5, I heard is now at Pure Motorsport. I know they specialize in Euro's, but that guy is a total Z head.
Call and see if he is there. You got nothing to lose.
